Set in an island paradise during World War II, two parallel intercultural love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. IVC is excited to present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific in Concert; beautifully staged, choreographed and costumed that will inspire one and all. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical revival intertwines the themes of romance, duty, and prejudice to create a story that is all at once hilarious, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking.
